Jamko is a Certified Woman-Owned Business Enterprise
Established in 2001, Jamko Technical Solutions, Inc. is a certified woman-owned business and well-respected provider of remote visual inspection services, technical solutions, and imaging products. We are proud to serve the nuclear power generation, private industry, landfill, and municipal infrastructure market segments. Today Jamko technicians and custom built tooling provide inspection and on-site services across the United States, Canada, South America, and Europe.
Jamko's founder, Michael W. James set up his first workshop and desk in an old airplane hangar in Newark, NY. His dynamic character and incredible work ethic drove Jamko to its early successes and organizational growth. Mike's background in nuclear power began during his service in the United States Navy during the 1980's. Shortly after being honorably discharged from the US Navy, Mike founded Jamko on March 19, 2001 and worked tirelessly to surround himself with good people who shared his work ethic and vision. Mike was the Owner/CEO of Jamko until his sudden passing in a tragic accident in February 2009. When challenged by a client to develop a solution to a unique problem, Mike's approach was always "we can do that"!
Today, Jamko is owned and operated by JoAnn C. James and is headquartered in a new 16,000 sq.ft. facility in Lyons, NY. Since Mike's passing in 2009, JoAnn has guided the company through a re-structuring which has positioned it for continued stable growth. Under JoAnn's management, Jamko has become the preferred provider of remote visual inspection and on-site services for several of the industry's largest corporations.
Whether its assisting a small, local municipality with an infrastructure problem or supporting nuclear power generation facilities throughout North America and Europe, Jamko is able to respond quickly with experienced, professional technicians and custom-built tooling to support our client base with advanced technical solutions.
